Parliament Visit 2025

It was a privilege to accompany some members of our vibrant multicultural communities on a special visit to Parliament in Wellington. The visit began with a rich cultural experience at Te Papa Museum, where participants explored the stories and history that shape Aotearoa. In the afternoon, the group made their way to the Parliament, where they were warmly welcomed by the local MP Tangi Utikere. A highlight of the visit was stepping inside the Debating Chamber, providing a unique and memorable glimpse into the inner workings of our parliamentary process.
These photos capture a day of learning, connection, and belonging—a celebration of our diverse communities and their vital role in shaping the future of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Thank you to the Trazit Coachlines for accommodating our transport requirements, the Education Team at the Parliament, and to MP Tangi Utikere for taking some time off his busy schedule to meet our group. Lastly, thank you to all the participants for being an amazing and cooperative group, making the day a success!
