The Manawatū Multicultural Council was proud to nominate two of our amazing volunteers for recognition at this year’s event:

Rita Lakhani - For over five years, Rita has led weekly yoga sessions at MMC, helping community members improve their well-being through movement and mindfulness. She also contributes to other events and activities, always with a warm and generous spirit.

Shubhangi Mishra – Every Thursday, Shubhangi leads English classes tailored to the diverse needs of our learners, creating a welcoming space where people build confidence and connection through language.
