Immigration New Zealand (INZ) is inviting former refugees and their families to take part in the first-ever Refugee Survey, now open until 10 December 2025.

This important survey will help the Government better understand the real-life experiences of people who have resettled in New Zealand through the refugee programme — beyond just data on employment or qualifications.

Who can take part?

Former refugees and their family members aged 16 or older, who have settled in New Zealand in the last 5 years.

Participation in NZ Life

The survey is online, available in 13 languages, and completely anonymous. Participation is voluntary, and responses will not affect visa status, access to support, or any current or future visa applications.
