Keepy Uppy World Record Attempt!

𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫!

Sport Manawatū is gearing up to break a world record during Play Week (26 October - 1 November 2024) and we want YOU to be part of it!

We’re going for the 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐲 𝐔𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞—currently held by Queensland with 702 participants. But with your energy and enthusiasm, we know we can blow that record out of the water!

𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄’𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍:

We’re inviting the entire community—early childhood centres, schools, workplaces, retirement villages, hair salons, sports teams, parks, and beyond—to join in on this epic challenge. Picture inflatable balls and colourful balloons bouncing in perfect unison, all over our region!

Across Palmerston North, Manawatū, Horowhenua, and Tararua districts! Wherever you are—whether at school, work, or in the park—you can join in!

You can join public events at the following locations:

• 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐚: Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō, 10 Bath Street, Levin

• 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐚: Bush Multisport Park, 57 & 74 Huxley Street, Pahiatua
