Last Thursday, we gathered at Hancock Community House to farewell Sergeant Q and celebrate his outstanding contributions to our community. It was a wonderful morning filled with heartfelt messages, warm wishes, and shared memories.

On behalf of the Manawatū Multicultural Council, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended, including Mayor Grant Smith, Councillor Lorna Johnson , Councillor Orphée Mickalad, stakeholders, community leaders, members of our ethnic communities, and all who took the time to join us. Your presence made the event truly special.

As Sergeant Q embarks on a new chapter in Australia, we send him our deepest thanks and best wishes. His dedication, support, and friendship have left a lasting impact on Manawatū. Sergeant Q, you will always have a place here!
